Mild steel casement and top-hung windows fabricated to opening size, primed, finished and glazed — the durable, repairable option for houses and rentals.
Steel windows remain the most economical way to close a large opening securely, and unlike aluminium they can be repaired rather than replaced when a hinge or stay fails.
We fabricate in Z-section and angle to the exact opening, with proper mitred and welded corners rather than screwed cleats. Opening lights run on cranked or friction hinges with peg stays, and the whole frame is built to a consistent clearance so the light closes without forcing.
Finishing follows the same discipline as the rest of our work: de-scale, prime within the shift, finish in enamel or powder coat. Burglar bars can be integrated into the frame at fabrication rather than bolted on afterwards.
